kylegj, you took the words righ outta my mouth. I was thinking "this looks like a mini version of the AHS house (Rosenheim mansion) in LA. Ahhh, probably a whole lot of houses there are as amazing as this. I am imagining it. Or this is owned by an AHS person." This house is faaaantastic. I ADORE it. Just so deliriously dreamy. I love it. I can haz Crafstman Delight plz? *want* ...Sigh... Kathleen & Matt's California Craftsman House Tour |

I find cooking in my space helps me feel more grounded there, as does making my bed every single morning. Showing care for it in different ways - cleaning it, USING it by sitting in different places, appreciating it - really bonds me with my space :-) <3 Using All Your Senses: The Intangible Elements of Home |

I love it! Dynamic, energetic, intriguing, expansive - this is a shot in the arm! Undeniable style! I love this space. The stripes in the kitchen are so wonderful, the goggles on the guard lend a sort of modern steam-punky feel - although steam-punk has truly knocked off the era's you are invoking. You're a master-spy of style! LOL Congratualtions. The first post pics of the living room made me think of walking into an exotic hotel of the Bogart era. Oh my goodness. So beautiful ;-D You are gorgeous, your dog looks totally sweet and cuddlesome, and your home just...I don't even know where to begin. I am so charmed, impressed, swept off my feet (onto that beautiful couch with that buttery pillow), and happy for you and for everything you have done here. Everywhere you look there is calm yet fresh perfection. I love your home, and I admire your taste. I love the porch. When I saw that I thought Oooh New Orleans influence. Then it just went on...& on. Sorry to gush - but seriously I am nearly head over heels for your beautiful home. HAPPY SIGH :-D That tub. That fireplace. The strong crisp white, and cool muted silvery's paired with the warm buttery light golds. Wow. It's a knockout! I LOOOOOVES IT! I can totally understand why there are people here wanting to be your friend. Are you kidding me??? Me too me too!!! :-) xoxoxo I love you! Wow! So much to say but it's all already been said!! I love your home!! I WANT your home!! Just gorgeous design and beautiful taste in the furniture and details! It's realistic (happily livable), well decorated and not cluttered (for the amount of books you have). You are daring to have dark kitties and white (gorgeous) couches. Love your description of your style as "Nerd". I relate! I love this place!! Of course, I want more pics as you two continue evolving your home...and as someone said, the outside whenever it is ready! You two have done a wonderful job, and I love this place! I <3 <3 <3 it! and the kitties, by the way, so adorable. The first pic w the very pretty grey boy (i think) was hilarious, just because of his expression. Did I mention that I love this place? ;-) Anne & Tahoe's Barnum Bungalow House Tour |

Wow. Well, I was right, definitely one of my favorite homes on AT! I love it from top to bottom. Just so lovely. Really love the detached ...studio? outside and the large table there. What a work of art! I love it! Whimsical and bright, yet formal with a touch of kitsch (the white owls)! I do love the porch and exterior, the grey with the yellow; I've never seen the "Hello." before. Donuts to dollars I start to, because this place has definite influence potential! Okay, I have to review these pics tomorrow. I believe I have possibly just stumbled upon my favorite house EVER on apttherapy, and I just want to have a clear head about it. I can't judge tonight, it's late - and after a nice glass of red. Time to get some perspective. But let me just say this: this house FEELS. This is a psychologically accessible home, one that welcomes us on many specific, and deeply personal levels. I love this home. This I can declare most certainly, and safely, without benefit of the morning light and the un-vino'ed mind. Thank you for bringing this wonderful home, a true expression of the self - of the many selves that reside here - to light, so that we all may benefit. I sincerely LOVE this place. <3 The Martinez Family's Modern Mountain Turkey Coop House Tour |

I am so happy to hear you gush about your dog!! I just adore it when people are mad about their animals! Your home is very welcoming and creative. It's a very "feeling" house, full of emotion and brightness! Your creative side is just a-bloom! Love the koi in the pond, and your paint-room...I love the twister dropcloth, too! Your paintings are very well-done... Reflective of each of those characters! Personally love the blue house with the orange leaves piece...happy to see your happy home!! I love it. Love the modern clean sense of it all, the green and the natural elements of the pine table, the rooftop furniture - LOVE - combined with the heirloom pieces as well. It makes for a warm, clean, fresh atmosphere with depth and history. And the cats? Well. Let me say that it is awesome you provided them with such gorgeous and varied textures and "flavors" of places to lay for coolness (glass, counters, the pine table, the concrete floors) and for comfort - the lush bedding. How adorable. Cats are like living sculpture, breathing art, and their personalities bring a sense of animal mini-majesty to a place. You are graced indeed. :-) I DO WANT lol Isn't it great to have a furry family? I have two of my own. They rule our one bedroom apartment, and I WANT to get rid of the carpeting, but alas. Not my choice. And like others, the first thing I thought was "Where are the litter boxes?!" Matt & Leah's Modern Menagerie House Tour |

What a lovely place; what a lovely time. It looks so wonderfully detached from the rest of the world. Now how to live there year round, and maintain that "in the world but not of it" feeling :-) Thank you for sharing a piece of your history! I want to step in & have some pizza! lol & help pick! I love it! And your kitties are awesome! Your tabby looks a LOT like a Maine Coon Cat - I used to have one, and they are so great! Your home is just lovely... <3 I feel your pain about the litter box(es) my kitties aren't happy with less than 3 right now and I am in a 749 ft space...I can't figure out how to cheaply disguise them without having them too far out of sight (and thus out of mind - bad for daily cleanings!) any advice? I have always considered a screen, like an Asian-style... Kitty Bubs' Nostalgic Starlet Bungalow House Tour |

Look, I think it's beautiful! I love it!! Now that I know it isn't currently lived in though...makes me hesitate. Is that really fair? It's a great space, I love what she has done with it, which is awesome - but what about the people entering this contest that actually occupy their spaces? That is definitely more of an accomplishment, to have a working, still beautiful, lived-in space. I think that staged work should be considered as a different category. Otherwise, I love it. But i do feel it's misleading. Andrea's Storage Plus Character Small Cool Contest |
