PS: I just looked again at your orange bedspread and would love to know what that is and where you found it. I can't quite tell if it's a quilt or made of yarn, like an afghan or throw? It's beautiful!!

This will sound goofy, but my husband and I have used this several times; it has worked without fail. Here's one example: The first night we slept in our brand-new-not-quite-finished house, we had 3 mice join us in bed!! Yup, up the bed skirt and onto the bed--one even crawled under the covers with us! (That's what woke me up!) Much later, my husband and I counted 6, and "rigged up" a live trap: first, we took a glass gallon jar and placed a nice snack of peanut butter and bits of cheese into the bottom. Next, we placed books stair-step style beside the jar to give the mice an easy stairway to the jar rim. Needless to say, throughout the rest of the night we slept little, but laughed hysterically every time we heard the scamper of tiny feet across the floor, up the "steps" and then PLOP!! Of course, they couldn't climb or jump back out, so in the morning we found 6 cute little guys looking up at us wanting to go for a car ride. We obliged. About twenty miles away we let them go by a stream on the edge of a woods. They waved thanks as they scampered off! Yes, this really happened. (Okay, all except the waving part!)

I can almost smell the fresh air! So simple, relaxing, and beautiful!!!
