I have decided not to cook Easter dinner this year. Normally I would get a ham from the Honey Baked Ham store for Easter, and add my own side dishes. Have to have collards and cornbread, my daughter likes my brocolli cornbread, so yum. I will take my daughter and myself out to dinner this year. Not sure where, anyone have any suggesstions for a great restaurant in Florida to have Easter dinner? What's Cooking This Weekend? Weekend of April 7-8, 2012 |

This morning i had a veggie egg white omlet with 2 small toasted pita breads from dunkin donuts. Bought a blueberry muffin for my daughter. Did not have my coffee from DD as usual, made DD coffee at home. Very healthy breakfast, enjoyed eating it and listening to the radio. What Did You Eat For Breakfast Today? |

A very cute easter basket i bought one year was a stuffed blue rabbit with his middle open as an easter basket and handle made of same soft fur as blue bunny. We recycled blue bunny for 3 easters and i think i still have him. Impossible for me to part with all the stuffed animals collected over the years, i keep them in several large clear zippered plastic bags that comforters came in. They are hard to part with. The worst closet in my house belongs to my 14 year old. I have set her to the task of pulling out clothes that no longer fit and she has started a donation bag. Some of these smaller clothes still have the tags on them (all jeans). In her case, i think i am going to donate them to her middle school nurse, they keep a clothes closet at the school for emergencies and may find a kid there in need. As far as me, well i have access to three closets, two in my bedroom. I keep up with clearing out, but am guilty of having some smaller pieces that are too smalll that i am hopeful of getting into. My biggest organizational problem and overload is shoes. They all fit, but too many could donate some. Clothes Closet Cleanout: Tips for Paring Down |

Despite a very busy morning, i did go to Dunkin Donuts and order a chees bagel twist and coffee. Ate half of the bagel as it is very high in carbs, yummy, no cream cheese. Coffee was yum as usual, really needed it this morning, long night. What Did You Eat For Breakfast Today? |

my two big moves: find the job, find the schools, find a credit union, find the grocery store, find the mall and post office, find a drug store and find WALMART. Children are very flexible, but you are right, having the toys and their bedrooms set up first is comforting to them. Babies don't care, they want comfort of parent(s), and depending on age, a blankie, binky and bottle, the 3 B's. With GPS's now navigation is easier then it used to be. Map of city gives one a good idea of lay of the land. It is also helpful to have a friend who lives in the area you are moving. Friends are a great help with navigation. I don't like beer either, except once while i was in Asheville North Carolina for work, my co worker and i were sent off for a week of training to Asheville, well anyway, she ordered an orange beer with a fresh orange in it, so good, i ordered one too. Could not imagine ice cream and beer, but i will try anything once. Still love rootbeer or pepsi, diet of course, with vanilla ice cream. Beer for Dessert! Have a Beer Float Beer Sessions |

The table next to the chair is only cute for decoration, but way too small and very impracical for a table next to a nursury chair. Ella's Chic Nursery Kids Tour |

I think this nursury works for the family who put it together for their little girl. When my little girl was born, i chose not to go with the traditional pink for a girl or blue for a boy. I hired a professional painter, wall color was a beautiful and peaceful sea foam green. I was also very aware of what peacefully stimulated my daughter in her environment. I did not have items that would frighten a baby when she awoke alone in her nursery without mother. Was hesitant at first to have a baby monitor in the room because of fire hazards, but prayed about it and had one set up with speaker next to my bed. Items placed directly across the top of the crib were selected to stimuate the brain. Materials were checked that covers, sheets were made of, whatever was close to my daughter's skin was also washed in a very mild detergent. Rocking chair is a must, one with foot rest for Mom or Dad. Changing table - very securely built with strap, etc. I did like the way the couple above displayed the babies name on wall - nice touch. Ella's Chic Nursery Kids Tour |
