I like the open feel and high ceiling - makes everything seems to spacious....everything seems simple and I love the artwork on the kitchen walls - it seems to reflect their aura quite well in this space!

This is the perfect dessert stand for me too! I'm not a fan of the glass or girly looking ones - this one is quite masculine too - understated and elegant!

I was just asking myself that same question tonight - I threw my old lentils out - I've had them for about a year, and whilst I made a batch about 3 weeks ago, they took too long to cook, and I felt uncomfortable eating it...

There's always something to do....something that has to be done....a call to make! But life is sometimes about simplicity - sipping tea is like meditation - it grounds you, and makes you realise that sometimes all the anxiety isn't worth it! It's just good to detach sometimes!

I'm a fan of the band and their album artwork. It seems to be a lost art form - remember the brilliant art work from some of the 70's rck bands? My fave has always been The Cars' "Candy-O".

I've been through a few hurricanes. The 1st comment makes sense, also if you have a gas burner that can help too.....keep loads of bottle water, batteries, torch light etc.....and a good transistor radio!

Spare cell battery too!

I don't listen to news anymore - for one, I think the reporters that I see in CNN already have a pre-formed opinion and to me that's poor journalism.

I like to have art in my kitchen on many levels - from the utensils I use, to the pot I cook in - I enjoy all these things, and they always relax me - especially with some wine or a cocktail!

This holds truth - when I was partnered I longed to just not have to worry about what's for dinner, or bfast.....can we just have scrambled eggs instead of trying to figure out what's pleaseing. I would often crave my bad swings - hanging with my friends...drinking....having a martinit at noon. But after a day I would miss him way too much and then give in....haha! The balance is necessary for realising what you have and what's important!
