I am a huge fan of the Green Fin selections - organic AND 3.99 a bottle. My favorite is the White Table Wine. I'm not even a big white drinker, but it seems to go nicely with everything. For the price, try them all! 7 Budget-Friendly Spring Wines from the Trader Joe's Wine Shop |

A few apartments ago, I had a bathroom with absolutely no storage (pretty pedestal sink means no cabinets) but it was large and I could fit a bookshelf in there which I filled with baskets and jars. Loved it. 10 Small Space Storage Solutions for the Bathroom |

Seems like a good space saver, and certainly better than no sink, but I have a tiny (albiet cool looking) sink like these and I can't wash my face without making a huge mess. I am quite thankful that wipes are easy to find and rather inexpensive these days. Small Space Solutions: Tiny Bathroom Sinks Roundup |

I lived in a 280 sf studio in Los Angeles. As tiny as it was, the kitchen was completely separate from the main room and the bathroom was large - far, far larger than my tiny bathroom in my 650 sf place now! The main living area was 14 x 14 and I managed to fit a full bed, desk, loveseat, coffee table and TV. My "coffee table" was two Ikea Lack table next to each other which worked perfect when I needed to move one or both to make more floor space (for crafts or yoga or an aerobed). I loved that place . . . it was my first place all to myself. I have learned over the years that I don't need, or even like a lot of extra space. It just fills up with things I don't need and who wants to stumble in the dark through several rooms for a glass of water in the middle of the night? I would love to see a mustard and white chevron stripe next to this pattern. I love mixing bold patterns - the trick is getting the colors exactly right or it looks messy. Personally, I wouldn't go with tan or add in any more colors. I am picturing white furniture with some blue glass jars repurposed as candle holders/vases - kind of a beach-y look. Of all the things I could list, my favorite part of living alone is having the fridge to myself. No rotting food that I can't throw out, no one accidentally eating what I was planning on for dinner. Sure, once it a while it's a little lonely, but not as often as it is wonderful! (a side note: while building houses in Guatemala a few years ago, I had a chat with a 14 year old girl who was asking me about my life at home. I later realized that she felt SAD for me that I lived alone. In her culture it is entirely unheard of, and the only reason to live alone would be that you are truly alone in the world.)
