Another shout out to The BoardSMITH - http://www.theboardsmith.com/

Had a 12x18 Boos that was fine for a decade until the kids got older/bigger/dang do they eat....and needed a larger cutting board. Heard great things about David, and his 18x24 (two inches thick) is a great size for me to work on.

I note my knives do not get as dull as quickly working on the BoardSMITH board versus the Boos...I wager it is due to the difference between edge grain and end grain.

Those that were brought up with manners do RSVP. Those that do not, well, they were raised by wolves.

@omoriala - My store used to ship an alcohol blending solution that was flammable, so I am drawing my limited knowledge with aerosols...t is my understanding you can ship aerosols (in the USA - I have no knowledge of shipping regulations outside the United States) via ground, not via air. There are guidelines in place from the DOT, and USPS, FedEx and UPS follow them, although USPS has their own set of rules in addition to the DOT. If shipping aerosols via USPS you'd need to follow their guidelines - The last item I ordered that was pressurized (butane) arrived via UPS - I'll bet because it's less paperwork for the sender.

Growing up in the 70's, when I wanted to go play outside in ratty jeans and uncombed hair, mom always scolded, "You are someone else's environment.'

I'm all for looking presentable at any given moment now that the kids are in school....however, being pregnant, and/or having toddler/pre-school kiddos running around the house - and looking good? If you're able to do this either you have a live-in or I wanna know your secret.

To me, the taste of food microwaved is inferior to that cooked on a stove or in an oven. I'm with the others regarding spending the $ on a quality oven. My microwave is in a closet in my pantry on a dedicated circuit. Where it sits, largely unused, save to melt butter when I am in a hurry. Popcorn? STOVE.

It is gorgeous and quite visually appealing.

Nothing beats the amazing scent of sun-kissed clothing/sheets...

I spent a few weeks mapping out the perfect location for my clothesline - not too close to trees/shrubs/plants/flowers...trees equal birds which equal birdy poop...flowers equal bees which equal pollen streaks... trees equal shade which equals longer dry time...

But they are architects in Australia - maybe it is used as their cats' scratching post?

I think this type of setup is called a wet room - the last spa I went to had one for body scrubs - big room, one drain, fully tiled. My opinion is spend the money upgrading the bathroom you currently use versus putting in a master bath, and making that bathroom the nicest you can afford.
