I would suggest using lots of white or light colors to open the space up, as well as mirrors on the walls to make it feel bigger. Also, to monopolize on space I agree with fellow posters who say a trundle bed/bunk bed would work great. But I'm confused, where is the kitchen? Design Help For Newly-Separated Dad? Good Questions |

Well, most sport "art" is very kitschy, but I would do a vintage print or something similar. Not that my husband or I care for sports at all though! Sports Decor: Yes? No? In Moderation? |

I'm a collage artist so I use a lot of magazines for my artwork. When I find that I'm drowning in mile high stacks, I go through them all one last time, cut out images I feel I'll use, put them in a folder, and recycle the rest! So, I recommend a little folder or binder for the interesting bits and just get the purge over with. This just makes room for new better things. The Matter of Magazines: Keep or Toss? |
