Wow. Great find for only $7.50! I prefer the before as well, but the after looks good too. I guess it depends on the look you want for your home. Good job. Before & After: Laura's Refreshed Nightstand January Cure Reader Projects |

Great job! At the end of the day -- especially a long one -- the kitchen is a place for us to cook, and the functionalilty, not the aesthetics, should first and foremost support that endeavor. Liveblogging Day 19: Pegboard Before & After The January Cure |

Thanks LaVera. I needed to read this after the original post, which still leaves me a little confused. The child's comment was cute and thoughtful, but teaching children to be thankful for material things is entirely different than teaching kindness. Saying "thank you" is easier than giving up something to help out others. LaVera, you are on point when you said that "best way to assure this is to do kind things yourself, regularly and without fanfare." Thanks. Ideas for Teaching Kindness to Children |

Funny...I was just looking at my Dream Machine on my nightstand and thinking how I will never get rid of that. So great to see so many others feeling the same way. Product Nostalgia: An Ode to the (Discontinued!) Sony Dream Machine |

I'm confused. I feel like I'm missing something. How is this a design concept? I understand the the practicality, but this just looks like a cluttered bachelor pad on an old Levitz tv stand. Vintage? Not. Repurposed? Not. Fit for Apartment Therapy home page? Not. Disappointed? Definitely. Suzy's Portable Home Entertainment System |
