Might I suggest silkscreen fabric? I haven't used it for sprouts, but I use it for other things. The beauty of it is that you can wash it out and use it again and again. Apartment Therapy Re-Nest | Grow Your Own Alfalfa Sprouts: Cheesecloth Alternatives? |

There were freshly baked clementine cakes at Abraco Espresso (7th st and 1st ave, Manhattan) when I was there on Monday. They were extraordinary. I also had a really good cardamom and rose cake. Apartment Therapy The Kitchen | Loving: Clementines |

I've been on a trek, you could say, for good clover coffee. And I've found two places that really understand the purpose of the clover. One, in New York, is Cafe Grumpy, who have a featured roast every week or so (and who don't actually sell drip coffee at all. The other is Zoka Coffee, who, as well as being a great neighborhood coffee shop in Seattle, also has a great roastery with some fabulous roasts. Clover VacuumPress Coffee |

This made me think of the meal I made last week, Alton Brown's 40 Cloves and a Chicken (http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/recipes/recipe/0,,FOOD_9936_16200,00.html), which I combined with Kristin's Braised carrots which you featured here. It was wonderful, and had I thought of it, I should have made it today. Technique: Roasting Peeled Garlic |
