@Taureg, Definitely if you have specialty equipment you might want to doublecheck the available space. I believe it's been mentioned before that the IKEA LACK doesn't fit taller A/V components!

Hi ca, those tamper proof outlets are a really good idea. They definitely are a PITA to plug something in, but you get used to it. Our county actually requires all new construction or alterations to use these outlets by code.

This is totally non-tech related, but how about when two people are having a conversation and they cut to a totally new place and they are continuing their conversation like it's the next sentence, even though they've traveled some distance (in silence??)!!

@hanc - Angela must be the fastest 3d modeller in the world, able to conjure up new views, renderings, and animations in seconds!

@DovieAnn and Pi - I agree, the set dressings are always a bit out there. Fancy interrogation rooms and see through big screen monitors so the camera can shoot from the opposite side.

@Parnassus - Multiple angles of security footage or cell phone video plus super high res, masked by fake interlacing to imitate low res cameras!

@dc.d - I agree, I always imagined the Force to be more mystical than something measurable and Lucas killed Star Wars with those prequels.

@mustangwolf - I agree, the media has cultivated a sense of me versus you in competing products. iOS vs. Android. Mac vs. Windows. BMW vs. Mercedes. The people love it, and I personally am not a fan of A vs. B. If you like A, get A. If you like B, get B. Why can't someone just enjoy what they prefer and ultimately have? What's the point of putting down someone else's choice that is unrelated to you and your choice?

Ooh, sounds intriguing. According to Netflix, "Super HD requires an internet connection with at least 5Mb/s download" which while opens up a lot of bandwidth for more data is still a far cry from Blu-ray's 54Mb/s transfer rate capability. Even at 1080p resolution, there's still going to be a whole lot of compression. But definitely love that it's getting better!
