Well, quite a surprise to see my kitchen stairs (the Victorian home with limited storage space) on this site but quite a thrill too.

One point that needs to be made about any stairs turned into shelving is how they deal with dirt and dust. Any area of the home with a lot of traffic (and stairs will generally have people going up and down them all the time) gathers a lot of debris and they can be pretty high maintenance.

Worth bearing in mind.
