Very pretty home. Curious about the ermine too. I read about a trend of freeze drying dead pets and wondered it that was what happened to him, but he isn't named with the others.

I am disappointed by all the negative comments here. This is a beautiful product. Pine is not suitable for burning in a chimney. It creates a fire hazard. Stumps are hauled away to landfills by the dump truck load during logging or burned on site.
I imagine I'd be friends with Mr. Berger if I lived in New Zealand. My mom saved me a great piece of black walnut from a hurricane felled tree that was being cut up yesterday.
He's very kind to show his process and I urge anyone who wants to buy something to support craftsmen/ artists whenever they can.
I sent a request to the editors to also show the work of a local artist who also makes glowing lamps but after reading the guidelines for posting it seems appropriate. Beautiful, and so efficient and functional. I agree about the small kitchen, a good cook makes good food under any circumstances. Love the colored telephones, green velvet sofa, vintage linoleum and your fab shoes.

I was looking in art galleries in Chelsea last week and one of them had a projection of a moving pattern on the floor. The ill feeling it caused lasted a long time. Ceiling fans can trigger a migraine for me and I really dislike patterns like this.

I bought pretty vintage glasses that had a cloudiness in them that I thought I could clean off, but in google reading I found that storing them upside down over time makes the glass cloudy. Some of them improved with soaking in vinegar and some are permanently damaged.

I'm eating a box of Annie's macaroni, but I filled it with (frozen) little peas and corn, quick, always on hand, and satisfying. We eat fruit of all types and raw salads for supper frequently, also stir fry with bok choy and vegetables on brown rice or ww spaghetti, or sauce made of mushrooms, eggplant and artichokes, soup with canned beans and pumpkin added.

They have a lot to be smug about, particularly that stunning dog, the floors, (especially the salvaged wood) and that neon sign.

Take out minestrone, because I have a virus. Best discovery: Wholefoods boxed coconut water that I am mixing half and half with grapefruit juice. Very soothing.

This house looks so comfortable and interesting the owner must be a fun and fascinating person.
I owe a debt of gratitude to Brian for making me a better parent. While I was sternly lecturing my adolescent son on filling his brain with tasteless, offensive trash, insisting that Family Guy was not even funny, Brian totally cracked me up with the most hilarious moment in tv ever. There is nothing more tasteless than dictating "taste" to others, even your own children. Thank you Family Guy makers.
