This is awesome. I'm having so much fun that I can't think of a more dynamic word than awesome! This is what I did: title="Wordle: Take Care Tonight"><img

JulesDC is absolutely right and I think the whole thing is absolutely absurd.

Lacking the necessary skills to actually build my own murphy bed, I enlisted the help of a cabinet maker. It probably cost me more than most would be willing to spend (about $1500) but it my case it was a necessary evil. The guy I worked with was very helpful and he even put in a shelf where I can rest an alarm clock, glass of water, etc. Since I live in Detroit I have no resources for you other than to find a carpenter who is adventurous. Good luck!

I bought one at a T.J. Maxx for around $6. It was a gross aqua-green, luckily I was able to remove the mirror spraypaint red and reassemble. Good luck!

That Scott Hill has got a pretty sweet 'stache. The textiles are interesting as well.

You're probably sick of hearing it but I wouldn't cover those walls either. I'm sure to you it's bland and boring but I for one and trying to bring some "Vermont" into my midwest abode.

I would totally do it. However, I like the symetrical design my initials have.

Maybe I'm too sensitive but I didn't think any of that was fun or funny. Then again, I have had a 20 minute conversation about a font.

I don't think there will ever be a better MP3 player than the ipod. Ever.

Most of them are indeed open on weekends and will usually accomidate you by a personal showing if you're serious and can't make it during store hours.

Since I'm a Detroit dweller, Vertu in Royal Oak Michigan is not only closer to my neck of the woods but they have a more discriminating eye which yields some great mid century finds.

I'm guilty. I actually use a bucket under the sink which acts as a garbage can. Normally, I throw it out at the end of the night but have been known to hang the bag on the exit door because I don't feel like running into a neighbor, wearing only boxer shorts.

About a year ago I bought this from Target online. I can't remember what I paid for shipping but for around $250 I have no complaints. The botton piece is weighted down by some sort of heavy rubber/charcoal substance which is nice for added stability. The only negative was that the rubber/charcoal weight left an odor for about 10 days. The cord runs off the back left hand side and if you get creative with double sided tape then you'll never have to look at it.
