I got the Land of Nod one and I have to say, none of us were happy with it. My daughter was 2.5 when we got it, so still pretty small and it sits very far up off the floor (to be able to fit a trundle underneath). This is great if you want to store a lot under the bed but it was really tough for her to climb into bed and also was higher than our grown-up bed. When our younger daughter started to climb, it became terrifying to have this bed because she could get up there but not down and could have had a very bad fall if someone wasn't always watching her. We had the guardrail and I removed it when my older daughter was about 4 but she was too scared to sleep in it without it so back it went. The bed is beautifully crafted but we had the white-glove set-up and even so it was always kinda creaky. That bothered me a lot. It never felt comfortable. We ended up switching to the cheap IKEA Malm twin bed and everyone was much happier -- it's way more comfortable, not creaky at all and sits low to the ground. I wish we done that in the first place and saved a bundle! The old one is just sitting in our basement... This Jenny Lind Bed for Less? Good Questions |

I have one in my toddler's room and it's great. I got a bigger one, not the cubes, though. It's very sturdy, full of books. Way Basics | Apartment Therapy Ohdeedoh |

So cluttered! This space feels unrelaxing and stressful with the red and the gate around the tv and general lack of space or even space for the eyes to rest. Is this really a designer's? Apartment Therapy ohdeedoh | A Designer's Combination Living Room/Playroom |

We have the Gulliver in white and it's been great -- very sturdy doesn't feel unsafe in any way except I do wish bottom was wood and not particleboard of some kind but it didn't have any odor to it (it's sturdy just not so eco-friendly). I also wish the wood finish one had been available at the time I got it since my little one went through a phase of gnawing on the top of the crib and it's less than pristine now. I love my Micralite Toro -- and it does recline. I guess maybe the Fastfold doesn't. We sold a free Mutsy 4 Rider Light because I wanted something lightweight that I could push with one hand and that folded small and in one piece and had air tires. My only gripes about the Toro are that I can't have the baby facing me and it has a small basket. To solve this, so far I've used my Graco car seat. At first I had the car seat in the Graco Snugrider but that stroller is big. I do recommend it to start so you can get some idea of what you want out of a stroller before making a big investment. I wish I'd gotten a Maxi-Cosi car seat instead, though. All the other strollers I considered lost out because they're so heavy or difficult to fold. The Quinny is too heavy and wide, same for the Uppa Baby and the i'Coo. And the Bug is tough to fold, basically impossible to take on public transportation. But my favorite mode of transport is the Ergo. So easy to put on and I can feed her while I'm walking around. And it doesn't hurt my back like the Baby Bjorns do. We used our bassinet for 7 months so I think that's a personal parenting style issue. Next time around I'd probably just get a co-sleeper, though. We used a little one that goes in the bed as well as the bassinet. We skipped the Baby Bjorn because I heard it hurts your back so much and went straight for the Ergo. I can't say enough great things about the Ergo. It's not as cute but you can wear it for hours and not feel it. A sleep positioner is useless.
