No, we just don't use that door that much as we have double doors in the conservatory attached to the kitchen. It's a barn door so we often have the top half open (this is England, however - currently 16 degrees, so not that often at the moment!). Thanks for your comments!

I always use bulgar wheat and don't use a cartouche, just put the chicken directly on the grains.

Absolutely love the colour coded books. I have them on my shelves and if I were now to mix them all up, I would find it chaotic. Mixed with vases and ornaments to break it up, it looks great.
