I loved what they did, they are fun. My one problem with their design was that they didn't replace the light switches....they kept those cheap plastic plates.

You have had a million comments already but they do make diapers that are biodegradable (we cloth diaper but use these while on vacation)

As for the shower for the second baby, as someone pregnant with #2 at the moment, It is totally acceptable. My shower will be about welcoming a new child into our family and about my daughter becoming a big sister. Every child deserves to be celebrated!

I saw these and fell in love. We are going to definitely pick some up today.
The submarine is a toy holder, with suction cups to hold it to the wall. The whale is pretty much a direct rip off of the skip hop and not as soft as that one but still cute and the prices as usual at Target, can not be beat.

i have never had the opportunity to shop for a shower but as someone who has just had a baby shower for myself, people who just go off on some tangent are kinda annoying. i appreciate the thoughts of course, but i put that registry together cause those were things i needed. i know you think that bathtub and hooded towel are really cute and you have a bath theme, but the reason i didn't register for those things was because i had them, or didn't want them. :)

just sayin that if someone has a registry, they will be thrilled that you got things from it.

i agree with the above but i have to add...

are you serious? you couldn't afford a crib you liked so you made one? i have seen the pictures of this house, i am sure they could have gotten a Stokke or Oeuf crib.

i agree with Yolanda. I'm pregnant and my baby shower is coming up. The invitations clearly state both or our names, mom and dad to be. It will be a casual afternoon party with friends and family. catered but bbq style. more about everyone getting to interact with everyone else. families to meet. people can touch the belly and talk about babies. we really just wanted to celebrate this occasion with our friends and family, we don't need everyone to know what each of us liked eating when we were a baby or how many sheets of toilet paper can wrap around my belly. :)

i am with athrahans there is no way i am spending $500 or more on a bugaboo or the like. that is just retarded for me. yeah maybe i can have it for 5 years, but in 5 years i will have a child who can walk on it's own legs!

i am due in september. we are getting the Mcclaren also. There are inserts you can get that will support a smaller infant and i think it's probably more of what you had in mind when you said light weight and portable.

seriously people. the bugaboo is not lightweight and portable. it is like a Cadillac stroller.

we literally just moved and on saturday i filled the fireplace with all of our records. i think mine looks better, :) but i don't think hers is ugly.

candles in the fireplace is so over done. plus, if you have children or a baby on the way like we do, or pets for that matter, candles on the floor is simply a safety hazard.

also, not everyone wants a huge expedit or even a small one filling their houses or wall space. i prefer to use what i have.

Chumsabilly,

if you are looking for something wider, it is basically a cheaper/smaller version of the Crate and Barrel "Sloane" series. i have them and love them.

could definitely hold crayons, markerts and pencils.

if you had any kind of workshop it could hold smaller supplies
