When I go on a trip with my friends we always find an old coke wall (the painted kind) and line up for a group shot! It's fun to see how many we can collect.

Ugh, this kills me. I'm sorry but I don't want to live in a world without REAL books. It's an obsession and a love affair that I can't end.

I think we are WAY too dependent on technology and reading is a great way to escape and expand your horizons. I couldn't see myself doing that with anything other than a worn, comfortable book.

Our townhome is 2 stories, 900 square feet, it's perfect for us in terms of space. We being 2 adults, 2 cats and a dog. I think we could even work a baby in there eventually. I'm guessing if we move it'll be because of a lack of private yard.

Isn't 5k a little gratuitous for a table? (which i personally don't like) I would get a table that has more versatile lines.

I think it's beautiful I wouldn't change it but if the decor in the room is also bold I'd tone it down so they aren't overwhelmed by your personality. Saying that though this may help your house stand out and someone may really fall in love with it.

I think it's ridiculous to go through so much waste and how bad does it look on that towel bar?

As for the flowers I don't see how a biodegradable (compostable) material is hurting the environment.

I just don't get parties, a few friends over for a game night or something is cool but I don't like people making a mess in my place and the one time I tried to have a party only 4 people showed anyway. So yeah. Not my thing.

I think the tiles are okay but it's making your kitchen look a bit TOO gray and the cabinets (which should be a statement) look too washed out. I'd go with something with a contrasting color. I actually think these glass subway tiles would look really good http://tiny.cc/h0v3e, or if that's a bit out of your range I put these http://tiny.cc/ronzo57dxh glass mosaic tiles down in my kitchen and I love them.

Gotta say it'd be cool to go to one but overall I'm not on board, nothing beats a good old fashioned human to make you feel welcome.

Only real books for me. I'm very passionate about books there's just something about the simplicity of it just being you and that little paperback in your hands that has always sparked my imagination.

Then there's the fact then when you're reading something that has a real cover it can spark a conversation with someone you wouldn't have talked to otherwise.

Not to mention I just love looking at them.

I know it's your table and ultimately you should definitely do what you want with it but I vote for not painting. I love the wood tones that teak has and to paint it a glossy white.. well you might as well buy some MDF (you could even trace out your table on a sheet and make the same shape) and paint that over. If it's not your style though I agree with the others, sell it and buy yourself something that would go better with the feel of your home.

When I redid my bathroom got that pivot mirror from Pottery Barn and it looks FANTASTIC and really goes with the mid-century design of the house.
