Cobalt77, The only reason I knew how to turn the oven on is because in my previous apartment the owner had instructions on a similar small stove and the method for lighting was the same. It's only hard till you figure it out! Press the knob, you should hear the starter clicking. Keep the knob pressed and clicking and slowly turn the knob and you'll hear and see the flames start. Still pressed move it up to about 200-300 and hold it for a few more seconds and the let it go, it should be on. If it doesn't work the first time you may have to fan a little air into the oven. Since it's so little it uses up all the oxygen very quickly and you won't get a flame the next time. Good luck. Let me know how it goes. Tatiana's Living Lightly Small Cool Contest |

Hi @Calldoctorison! It's the Avanti 20" model. It works very well, I've had it for 4 years. The oven is amazing because it's so small, stuff is ready in no time. But I will warn you, it's tiny. When I first bought it I went to Target to get a cookie tray and when I came home I discovered it was too big for my oven. You will need smaller size trays and cake molds. When I returned the cookie tray the girl a Target cracked up when I told her the reason. Tatiana's Living Lightly Small Cool Contest |

@ Fair Phyllis The dining "room" table is from Ikea. I bought one of their butcher block counter tops and added some legs to it. Tatiana's Living Lightly Small Cool Contest |

@ jamie1024 Jamie, I bought the desk at Crate and Barrel, it's one of their classic pieces. I've seen similar ones on Target.com but the Crate and Barrel one is better quality wood. Tatiana's Living Lightly Small Cool Contest |

Thanks everyone. It was extremely hard to capture the apartment in 5 pictures. I have a few more pieces of art and clocks/lighting that make it interesting but the narrow rooms were quite a challenge without a fisheye.

I saw the movie and I have to say these pictures have a totally different feel from what I remember getting in the movie. I loved the blue couch in during the movie and thought it was funny it was part of the storyline. I turned to my friend when the couch first came up and said "love the couch". But I agrees with everyone, seeing the set one by one it does feel cluttered. But I am no director or set designer, maybe it's not about a picture but about the feeling while you watch the movie. If that is the case, they totally succeeded in my opinion. On The Set: Sex And The City 2 | Apartment Therapy Los Angeles |

I own the Ikea Sultan Alsarp Box Spring. It's not the prettiest thing in the world but it's not bad and the storage space under the planks is amazing! I have it on the wooden legs they sell with it and have rolling storage drawers tucked way underneath. My entire winter wardobe and art supplies fit under the bed and my shoe collection is in the rolling drawer. Recommendations for Platform Storage Beds? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy DC |

It's a big problem, but at least they are getting it to the recycling bin. That's a step. I live in an apartment building and on some occasions when throwing out my trash have found plastic milk and soda bottles there. I walk them over 10Ft to the proper bin, but I catch it all the time. Plus I have no idea who is doing it. :( poor mother earth. Apartment Therapy Re-Nest | Recycling: Help Thy Neighbor? |

Thanks so much for the comments everyone. I actually have 2 other rooms. Don't ask how it's all only 380 sq feet. I have a kitchen with a table for 4 and a crate and barrel leaning wall shelf and desk in the hallway plus a full size bathroom (great W layout of apartment). So I'd like to keep the Queen size bed because I got it dirt cheap when Levitz closed there doors, it's so much more comfortable than a futon and it's got storage underneath. It's the Ikea Sultan bed. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10098893 An additional piece is definitely an option, one piece at a time due to the budget. I like the idea of painting the wall. I don't know if the room will start to look too small? My other rooms are painted and look great, I think I got lazy with the bedroom. If it came down to taste you and I would be best of friends Laura! I have some of the same furniture in my studio. (which is about 350sq ft) But before that place, I did rent in a studio that was 250-280sq ft. I would invest in a small round dining table it would make a big difference. But I know how it is, there isn't much more that will fit, you have made it look wonderful! Apartment Therapy New York | House Tour: Laura's Pared Down Perfection Relocates New York |

I moved into my 350 sq ft apartment and decided to gut the kitchen due to the roaches. I had planned to wait a year but I couldn't stand the dried up grease on the nasty cabinets. It was hell and I was moody from not having a stove a sink or anything for about 2 months, but it was worth it. It looks wonderful now and the stress is in the past. I have to remodel the bathroom next, but I think I'll live at my parents or boyfriend's during that time since it's the only bathroom. I have a similar superstition. It's a little medallion of a saint. You have to stick it to a window or a door, (or cubicle/office) of a neighbor that is causing you grief. It has worked every time my parents have tried it. I am not superstitious and not religious, but if believing in something silly like that triggers enough of my brainwaves to make something, happen so be it. (think âthe Secretâ).
