Cobalt77, The only reason I knew how to turn the oven on is because in my previous apartment the owner had instructions on a similar small stove and the method for lighting was the same. It's only hard till you figure it out! Press the knob, you should hear the starter clicking. Keep the knob pressed and clicking and slowly turn the knob and you'll hear and see the flames start. Still pressed move it up to about 200-300 and hold it for a few more seconds and the let it go, it should be on. If it doesn't work the first time you may have to fan a little air into the oven. Since it's so little it uses up all the oxygen very quickly and you won't get a flame the next time. Good luck. Let me know how it goes.

@ Fair Phyllis The dining "room" table is from Ikea. I bought one of their butcher block counter tops and added some legs to it.

@ Tasha Jovel I brought the Buddha paintings back from a work trip to China. But if there's one thing China does well is export. I'm sure if you go to a local China town you will be able to find something similar.

Thanks everyone. It was extremely hard to capture the apartment in 5 pictures. I have a few more pieces of art and clocks/lighting that make it interesting but the narrow rooms were quite a challenge without a fisheye.
@ Kathykris, totally agree! The blue isn't quiet as bright in real life!

The sink is from IKEA but I don't think they sell it anymore. It was almost impossible to find a faucet that reached into the sink without splashing all over the edges, which is probably why IKEA discontinued it. The kitchen is under remodeling still. We just did the tiles and we are missing another shelf and some fixtures. :) Baby steps!

I own the Ikea Sultan Alsarp Box Spring. It's not the prettiest thing in the world but it's not bad and the storage space under the planks is amazing! I have it on the wooden legs they sell with it and have rolling storage drawers tucked way underneath. My entire winter wardobe and art supplies fit under the bed and my shoe collection is in the rolling drawer.

I probably can't afford them and I just bought the one in the "good question" posted earlier today. :( I likey, I likey a lot.

I moved into my 350 sq ft apartment and decided to gut the kitchen due to the roaches. I had planned to wait a year but I couldn't stand the dried up grease on the nasty cabinets. It was hell and I was moody from not having a stove a sink or anything for about 2 months, but it was worth it. It looks wonderful now and the stress is in the past. I have to remodel the bathroom next, but I think I'll live at my parents or boyfriend's during that time since it's the only bathroom.

PS....I gained about 5 pounds during the remodeling because I ate fast food a lot in order to rush home to work on the kitchen. I have since lost the weight.

I thought about the next buyer wanting it, but the apartment is very warm in the winter, I have another radiator in the bathroom on the opposite wall, in the kitchen and I probably get heat from the downstairs tenant also. for few cold nights. But right now that radiator is keeping me from turning the bed and wasting too much space in my 350sq foot apartment.

As for the knocking. I complained a few time and my great super told me he's tried everything. He's bled the lines but can't seem to fix the problem. It's only the one in my bedroom that knocks. I should have him look at it now that it's summer.
Will the pipe stick out from the floor board once it's capped?

I love it. When I get rid of the crappy sink and install my pedestal sink I will have to get one of these.
