Thanks for sharing this Los Angeles loft. At one point there were lofts in Long Beach and LA and I wanted one so bad. I am not sure now if loft living is for me, but it seemed the epitome of cool at the time, and this tour proves. Those two are just cool. I am not cool enough for a loft, and truth be told never was. Clever idea. I would like the readers of Apartment Therapy to all join in. I bet we would all get some really nice loot. I over purchase mid-century ceramics and am either giving them away or selling them back on eBay. I would LOVE to bring to a Swap Party. I think the theme idea is critical or it could be a mish-mash. I like this house and this family a lot. MCM is kind of my thing, and I don't feel this house is too far gone, too precious, or too much museum. You could live there and it feels real. Really nice job. That is a classic dresser. And a fantastic restoration. That is a piece I would be PROUD to own. I have an EXCELLENT mid-century modern piece in the original stain of dark walnut.
