I like the idea of having no comments all around until the finalists. Personally I never read the comments until after I vote because I want my reaction to the space to be honestly mine and not skewed by what other people think. It also seems like often the comments are the opinions of the few and the loud and don't reflect the voting numbers. So I would be a little bothered if they do in fact influence the judging. Organic Style was my favorite magazine. I also kept my old issues. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing it again although curious how different it will be. Well, you AT:Tech people sure set yourselves up for some heavy reading with this one. Here's my plea. My livingroom is only 9 FEET WIDE. Because of the layout of the room and placement of the heat registers, the only possible arrangement is with the couch against one wall and the tv against the other. With my old school tube television, this leaves just 5 FEET between the edge of the couch and the tv screen. According to my mother, this is slowly burning out my retinas (Did anyone else's mother tell them they would go blind if they sat too close to the tv?) The flatscreen could actually save my endangered eyesight, as well as put my mother's mind at ease. She would personally thank you... Am I seeing this correctly? It appears that your bed is blocking some lovely glass doors that join the kitchen to the livingroom. I think that's a shame. (Probably the fault of the queensize bed.)
