Professional cat/dog boarding is the way to go in my opinion. Best peace of mind. It's worth the cost.

Now this is the sort of tv related post I like instead of yet another "how to hide the telly" post.

I dream of creating a home theatre space, am moving to a studio in a few weeks, and will attempt to do so. Though I can't paint the walls, I planning on draping black fabric behind the tv, so eyes a pull more to where the screen is.

My tip for bringing focus to a screen would also, don't clutter around the tv, knick-knacks, pictures around the tv will distract the eye from the cinema experience.

My 24" iMac's name is Optimus Prime. My CSI Windy netbook is Sil*. My iPod is Claire. My first mac, which I bought new in '97, and I no longer own, it's name was Ripley.

I don't always like my guests doing what are supposed to be my own chores or hosting duties. There is a little part of my brain that will think, it's a subtle message saying I'm a messy person. I'll get embarrassed.

Also, I'm a straightforward person. When I say stuff I mean it, and I expect the same in return. Those polite phrases people say but don't mean, I don't do that. If I offer to help I completely mean it. If I say I don't want help I completely mean it.

I love movies, my ideal home cinema set up would be show off, instead of hide-away. The screen would be the center... and I don't think there should be much clutter around it to distract the eye from the film you are watching.

So whatever set up that will put all focus on screen. Even create an illusion the screen is bigger than it really is..

It's a very lush looking place, I love the colours, especially the green in the kitchen.

Tho' I wonder, where do you sit comfortably watching TV, I notice no couch facing the tv.

I'm flat hunting at the moment, seeking a significantly lower rent... I'm very willing to give up extra space. Right now I'm in a large two bedroom apartment, I'll very likely be moving into a tiny one bedroom. It's going to be worth it, because at end of the day I'll be able to afford to go on holidays, etc.

Oh, I thought they may be using the digital sound projector.

That's exactly what I've been picturing I need for the tv for the bedroom, I want it to be easily movable from room to room, and be able to fit players on a shelf underneath... so rolling 'office' cart eh. Now I know what to call it, I can find one easily.
