Thoughts:

1. What is on the floor in the before photo? Dead plant leaves?

2. I would have chosen either the sconces or the big sparkly light, not both.

3. It looks like an upscale hotel powder room.

I confess to having about 5-6 large Rubbermaid-type containers for Christmas, 2-3 for Halloween, and 1-2 for the rest of the year (mostly Easter/spring). I try to be somewhat organized, but often leave the decorations out too long and then don't put them away nicely. Since we moved into this house, I've been very into putting a different season/holiday appropriate wreath or decoration on the cute front door.

I use borax as a booster (only with hot or warm water, so it dissolves better), or it can be made into a paste/mixture somehow, probably.

I've tried Seventh Generation, Trader Joe's and a few other "eco" brands. I haven't noticed much difference between them. Overall, they don't seem as powerful as non-eco brands.

You can enter your zipcode on the Salvation Army site and see if they schedule pickups in your area. You might be able to have a van come right to your home. Also - I know there are veteran's and other nonprofits (Amvets, Purple Heart?) that will come pick up items. All you need to do is label it on the right day in a place they can see and get to it.

How do I clean our original (1930's) stained glass windows? A few of them also have small cracks in them, so I need to be careful.

We don't use paper towels, but I admit to grabbing and using paper napkins in a similar way as I would paper towels.

Privacy - provided by growing things or by fences, or by distance. Unfortunately, we have a postage-stamp backyard with only short chain-link fences on both sides. I'm contemplating planting tall plants/hedges/grasses along at least one side (the other has a sidewalk next to the fence).

Is melamine recyclable?
