Sulako and Egged, how can I find these at Ikea? I've been searching on their website but I don't see them! They look perfect for people who don't have a lot of extra room to store bulky beach chairs all winter...

And I'm wondering where to get that chair in the picture. The lounge chair that looks like a rope chair with arms? I've been looking for one like that for ages! Does anyone have any ideas?

I wrote in to ask Domino about this table when this issue came out. Here's their reply:

Hi and thank you for your interest in Domino!
The table shown belonged to the homeowner and was a vintage 1950’s piece.

Good Questions: Where Can I Find This Dining Table?

Thanks Adrienne. I've looked at Canal Plastics but I think only inquired about plexiglass, as I'm looking for a clear opaque instead of the milky white you have, if possible. Is what you used just called acrylic or is there a specific name? Do you find that the panel is thick enough for the door (and for the sliding hardware)? Thanks so much!

Adrienne, great place! Can you tell us more about the sliding bathroom door? Did you have the white acrylic panel custom made, and if so, where did you go and how much did it cost (if you don't mind sharing)? I want to do something similar and although I have found many good sources for the track hardware, the only fabricators I've been able to find for the door are very expensive. We'd also like to do some type of opaque acrylic or plexiglass. Thanks!

I saw the same dining set as London Urchin's in a furniture store on Bond Street between Bowery and Lafayette in NYC. Was there about two weeks ago. Can't remember the name of the store though--they have a mix of new stuff and vintage. This dining set was all the way in the back.

Fantastic! It's great to see someone deal so successfully with the familiar long-and-narrow railroad layout of a lot of small apartments. One question: Where/how did you get those interior doors with transparent glass (or plastic?)? I want to do something similar but the doors I've found are wildly expensive. I would love any DIY tips you might have. Thanks!

Really like the "half table" in the landing strip in the first photo. What is that particular piece of furniture called?

Great space, especially the sliding panels! I also would love to have more info on how you made them. Where did you get the materials? What kind of track does it have? How difficult was it to build/install? I'm thinking of doing something similar but the pre-made options are very expensive. Did you just buy sheets of plastic, and if so, how did you make the door frames?
