Why is it not letting me vote?

Ok. Here's what I would do...
If it fits, I would move the tall brown dresser between the door and closet so the front faces the desk and forms a sort of entryway. Move the bed over slightly and put the small table between the bed and window. It might make it feel more like a separate area from the bed/tv area. If the back of the dresser is unattractive, you could always cover it with a vintage movie poster/art or even fabric (patterned black and green maybe?) I would take the art you have behind the tv and move them above the bed along with other primarily black pictures, or if you can afford it buy a new larger piece with a lot of black in it. Switch the lamps, putting the matching on either side of the bed. If there is room, maybe see if the mirror looks good at the end of the tall dresser (facing the window?) Then play with bedding and pillows in your three colors. I also agree with the floor length curtains.

If you really care about any of this and not just as something to complain about, pay attention to where your food comes from.
You can find organic, locally made honey and maple syrup which both have health benefits. Find something with the name of the farm on it and look it up to see what you think about it.
Also read about palm (coconut) sugar. It is very low on the Glycemic Index, contains a lot of vitamins and minerals, and is a renewable resource that can be tapped year round.
I keep maple syrup that my parents friends make, locally farmed honey, palm sugar and basic organic sugar all in my house.
I do agree that moderation is the key here though. Try to use the best ingredients you can find, but also understand what it all does to your body.

I love the color. Your furniture and details are wonderful...
But, I do agree with the others about painting the rest of the walls. More color!
If you love it, keep it of course, but if you were debating at all whether to paint the rest of the walls I say do it. I don't think it will overwhelm, and the warmth it will create will match better with the feel of your furnishings.

I either call it the "little house" or "my little dollhouse."
It's small, it's old, and it's very cute.

I shared a large bedroom with my older brother until I was maybe 5 and he was just about to be a pre-teen. My parents built a wooden bunkbed into the center of the room which divided it in half. Mine was lower and there was a wall above. His was on top with a wall below. We each had about 5 or so feet of room to ourselves. It seemed to work out just fine, but of course, I was not a pre-teen boy...

I love layers of green on green. I'd suggest that you try not to match, but choose as different a green as you can find (that still complements of course.) Maybe with lots of blue in it, or a pale jadite color.
But then again... The suggestion to do tangerine or coral might look amazing as well.

Funny. This EXACT thing happened to me when I was a kid.
When I went away to camp I had a room with Raggedy Ann and Andy wallpaper. When I got back two weeks later, the walls were painted white and black, and I had new custom made bookshelves to replace the boards and bricks I had before. It was amazing.

I think I am going stain rather than paint my trim a deep ebony. I think it will look beautiful against the pale blue/green I am painting my living room.

The color is very nice, but really does not match the wood. I would go for a nice warm cream color or a very pale bluish green. If you want bold, try a rich moss green or peacock blue. I love the idea of a color on the ceiling as well. If you choose light color, try a shade darker above, and a pale version of the dark color if you want to go deep on the walls.

I put a soft yolk fried egg on almost everything I eat. Especially in the summer (not sure why so much then.)
My favorite things to put it on?
Brown rice and refried pinto beans.
and
Quinoa with swiss chard
Yum...

Crumple up some tin foil and use that to scrub the pan as well. Good way to re use it.

I think a rich plum or a deep peacock blue would look great.
If you want lighter, I like TwinkleTessa's idea of robins egg blue.

I have my first serious yard and have been spending all my free time there. It's slow, but when I saw the first bit of red peeking out of the soil from my radishes I almost hopped up and down. I wish I could plant some bigger plants (flower wise) in there, but I just can afford it. So I'm just putting in tons of little things and getting excited to watch it all unfold over the years.

Do you ever find that when you "have absolutely nothing in the kitchen" you come up with the best meals?
I just made a dish with 1 leaf of chard, about 4 mushrooms, a can of organic chick peas, a little bit of frozen sweet corn and garlic. I added butter, lemon juice, Annie's worchestershire (amazing stuff) a dash of golden mountain soy sauce, a tiny splash of rice wine and sauteed it up til the chard was soft. It sounds a bit odd, but it was so good. I'd totally make it again (but next time add more mushrooms and greens.)

I love it. It makes so much sense. Right now I have only a 4 cubic foot fridge. It makes me think about my food before I buy it, and also reduces wasted food because I have to eat what's in there before I can shove it full of new goodies.
But...
I would much prefer (like forked) if most of that space were designed specifically for the veggies. I would also be crazy thrilled to have a freezer that was larger than a bread box. I may not be vegetarian, but I practically live off of Quorn fake chicken patties. When those babies go on sale my freezer is overflowing with orange boxes!
The idea seems long overdue. I just hope the idea sticks hard enough that someone like me (a youngish, working class, firsthomeowning, semi-struggling music playing individual) can afford to buy one. We'll see...

Funny. Just a few years ago this we ended up spending all night at a party playing this game. It was hilarious to do it again as adult (was in my late 20's at the time.) Even the guys were playing along.
