These are great tips! I've thought of sending in a similar question about my kitchen paint color. I have very low light as well but with a green cast. I've painted 3 times and never found the right color. We have undercounter LED (warm white), a skylight tube, and a fixture with halogens. I am very intrigued with Parnassus' suggestion of F&B "Borrowed Light." It looks like the paint has green undertones.Do you think that would help with a room that already has a green cast?

We live in an IKEA dry zone so we had to buy a cube storage from Target. Looks exactly like the alternative featured here. It looks much cheaper than an Expedit.

We also bought the loft bed by Canwood. It's TERRIBLE!!!! We bought the stained version and after 3 weeks, the off gassing was still so strong we gave it to Goodwill. I've never experienced anything like it. It made my son's hair smell bad. :( I have made it my duty to warn people off of that bed.

I love this room but I can't figure out the age of the child. I guess the bed is for Mom and Dad or guests?

Soup is lunch pretty much every day. I make a big pot on Sunday and eat off it all week. Sometimes I do leftovers or a salad with beans or canned salmon.

My living room looks very much like the before and I've been itching to change it up but not sure what to do. This is so inspiring. The room looks great! Covered window and all! ;)
