Erica Tanov & Emily Payne Do Up The House

It reminds me of going to an Art Gallery with my artsy friend, and the major presentation was a video by art students. There were long discussions afterwards by the artistic merit of spinning teddy bears.

Don't try to remove it. It might be a bigger mess, than you think. I removed our wallpaper border and even after sanding, priming, and painting the wall you can see the marks (besides the fact that it took hours and hours).

Wallpops are pretty.

Lucky you. It's still not tomato season here in San Jose.

Oh, I forgot. The largest swaddling cloths that you can find. My son was a large baby and would not sleep without being swaddled until he was 3 or 4 months old.

I had a c section, so a stroller was a must. I like the one that is a frame that holds the carseat.

I used one of the curved changing pads attached to a dresser, http://www.amazon.com/Summer-Infant-Contoured-Changing-Pad/dp/B001U9OUYC. I highly recommend one unless you are used to changing newborns.

We used the pack and play in our room for the first 2 or 3 months. It had a changing area and bassinet. It was close to our bed and I didn't have to bend to move him.

If you plan to breastfeed, then a boppy or other pad is nice. It wasn't easy for either my son or I in the beginning, so it was nice to have.

We got him a swing when he was a few months old. Otherwise he would not sleep in the afternoon.

I see a lot of lettuce in those containers and they would be fine in something that shallow. Look up gutter gardens.

We strapped a contoured changing pad a dresser. Definitely recommend a contoured one. It will help keep tiny ones centered and they are a bit more padded.

We used a baby tub while DS was little and floppy. I was glad because DH would not have bathed him otherwise.

Why does this link, which is at the bottom of every page, not have Knock off wood. Perhaps posting an updated link at the bottom of the page would be helpful.

We are installing LED recessed lighting, and it seems to work wonderfully. So far it is just in the kitchen, but it is well lit.

I think they could have gone with the type of driveway that has 2 ruts with grass in between, but overall it's cute. I like neighborhoods where the buildings are all different.

Stop!!! Reputable companies do not come in and do swab tests or any testing (except for moisture). After you stop the water intrusion, then you replace or dry the materials and remove/treat any visible mold.

Air testing is usually done to access liability, not to determine what has to be done. http://www.epa.gov/mold/

@Rucy a musty odor maybe nothing more than a common mildew. Molds are ubiquitous and not necessarily a health hazard (barring allergies). The handheld meter is a good idea if they want to do their own inspection. I would remove any damp drywall as soon as possible.

Well, I bought this coffee maker, http://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-DGB-600BC-Grind-Brushed-Chrome/dp/B00006F2MI/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1262968722&sr=1-9 .
Also a Cuisinart. the issue is if you set it to grind and brew, the grinder and leftover bits of coffee get wet and the assembly has to be washed every time.

I purchased a American Upholstery sofa bed on Craigslist. I could live with the fact that it is a bit big for my living room and the seat is too deep to sit in except that my parents won't sleep in it.

I painted the living room a gorgeous yellowish green with a touch of grey. It looks gorgeous. Because the dining area /kitchen are attached I painted it the same color. It's a horrible depressing grey in the kitchen/dining area. 4 years later I am still waiting to repaint.

I am surprised that the Praire Gothic strawberry wasn't used as it has a more similiar color scheme.

Start with a color. I have to admit that my favorite part is painting.

My son is 5 and his room is evolving from an ocean fish theme to a space theme. At the moment most of the fish are down and maps are up on the walls. I have some world maps which are lower and will eventually have celestial maps higher on the walls. I am looking for some retro space artwork.

The room is blue including the wood floor and the furnishings are basic and should take him through junior high. Keeping the metal elements black, the woods dark, and colors in the room blues, lime green, and orange, even with the theme change.
