I live in an apartment in NYC. My landlord owns the building and I happen to live next door to him. As of a few months ago, their TV volume is so loud that I always hear a loud muffling noise and in turn have to turn on my own TV or music. It can be as early as 7am. He's a lawyer and he yells often (whether it's at his crew or on the phone). I'm not sure if there is a polite way to broach the subject. There were no volume issues the first 4 months. I don't want them not to offer a lease renewal next year. I love the apt, just not the muffling. Any suggestions? the first and last time i ordered from BH was during the super clearance sale. i ordered a table, cube, chairs, and some other accessories. i like some items. found it overpriced for the most part, but the sale was pretty amazing. and so far the quality of the items i've rec'd are really good for the price. the table came right away but everything else has been slowly trickling in. i am not on a strict schedule, so don't mind the delay but there are two things that really annoy me. 1) they don't always notify you when they ship. 2) they overcharged me for the table saying at the end of the day the amount charged for the total order will reflect the invoice amount. since it took them about a month to start shipping the rest of the order, i'd say they are totally overstating their accounts receivables.
