This wasn't for Valentines day but the balloon reminded me- I was going to be away for a month for a business trip and we had balloons hanging around from our recent party- and I wrote love notes on the top of them. I did this for Mothers day for my Mom. I saw the tiny letters in Real Simple magazine. She loved it! The letter was a look back on the year and what was to come ahead. I also thought someone could put it in their pocket and carry it around with them if it was a really special letter or if that person was far away from you. My condo had carpets and I was really excited to move to my new home with all wood floors- I have never lived in a house with wood floors. I had a problem in my kitchen, I wanted to have my toaster oven & microwave on a shelf over my trash can, with enough room for the lid to go up. I ended up with a folding bookcase from target online with the bottom shelves always up to accommodate my trash can. It sqeezed into a small space between my fridge & wall.
