The chandelier is the Edison from Pottery Barn, and it is discontinued. I bet you can find one on ebay. I have one NIB that I'll have to put on the Marketplace since hubby refuses to hang it up in our house. He has a point - pretty as it is, it's 400 W (!!) of very inefficient Edison bulbs. Well, that and the 20 extra holes we'd have to drill into our old plaster ceiling made it a no-go even when I offered to replace the Edison bulbs with Plumen bulbs.

I saw this idea about 15 years ago in some magazine, only for a canopy bed, and loved it! Been saving Vera scarves ever since for that project.

I love blue and yellow kitchens! Yours is very cute.

I may have to steal your technique for where two different paint colors meet on an outside corner. It's like entredeux in paint. Clever way to deal with those rounded corners of old plaster walls.

I guess Tell City made the wood parts of those cars, so if you want their 'look to inspire you in the home', just get yourself some Tell City furniture!

My kid had a little chemistry lab going, with beakers and test tubes and all. He would fill his test tubes with water, then dip in an old marker to color it. It was great!

If you contact Little Tikes, they can send a sheet of new decals for the gauges and mirrors to refurbish a Cozy Coupe. Also decals for the stove in the playhouse.

I'm with you, Lilah! I've always loved having LOTS of plants in my house, always will. Don't care if they're in style or not. Also agree with krunkinator.
