As a designer and former faux painter this is what I would do: Get Faux Stone product from Faux Effects in Florida or Sandstone and use it to cover each individual brick and grout. Then take any light color Benjamin Moore paint you like and Glazing solution and make a very loose, liquid glaze. Cover your textured brick- it will be almost white - with the glaze. Done. Want to do it together? I have a fireplace to do, so I will send you step by step after I am done. Let me know. Hope it helps. Makeover Ideas for Brown-Painted Fireplace? Good Questions |
