Sounds like there are lots of good suggestions here. Cleaning is number one. Then I would say you can make a big statement with a shower curtain, rug, and putting a nice shade on that window. That window shade and the rug will be the first thing you see when you walk into the room, so really concentrate on those elements. I would also suggest not going too busy or bold with the shower curtain, it's a small bathroom and you will also get a reflection of the shower curtain in the mirror. We have one in our apartment and keep our everyday dishes in it. I love having beautiful pieces in our home that are useful for everyday use. And I don't worry about how it looks or is arranged. We have mason jars for glasses, various color goblets, tea cups, and mix and match vintage dishes.
