From the seven interior pictures alone, I feel most of the furnishings are too disproportionate - both to the room they're in and their surroundings. Although the pieces are light and airy, the rooms all look cramped and awkward. Of course these are photos, and I'm not sure how it feels to actually experience the house. But then again, that's not what these house tours are about.

And it's a great collection, of course, but that's another thing these house tours are not about.

I've used the flat bar stock MikeT mentioned for specifically this purpose, tho I had to drill my own holes. They let me do it at the neighborhood hardware store so I didn't have to buy metal drill bits.

And on a technical note, for an x-style brace to work, it does not need to be drilled in the middle (where the Ikea ones are usually connected). I'd stay away from doing so since it can be error prone if it's not exact.

i use world's best cat litter in my cat's box of shit. i don't scoop twice a day like some (more like twice a week) but I think it works really good, tho more scoopin' would probably make it last a lot longer.

Bar Keeper's Friend, as I found out, truly is a friend for bartenders with metal countertops, except at 4am the arm workout can be a bit much. It should be noted that it can be mildly abrasive, but sinks shouldn't matter a bit. If scrubbed long enough it will leave an amazing polish.

If your clothes smell of smoke, etc., but aren't necessarily filthy you can always just spray them with a natural odor neutralizer like <A href="http://www.xocorp.com/">XO (what I use). And I rarely wash my jeans, like once every month or two, but maybe that's why I haven't been out a date in long time...

And In Sweden, you usually hang them - either outside or in "drying closets" - but they also have a mesh roller-like machine which squeezes the moisture out and you end up with a freshly-pressed shirt afterwards.

Oh, and instead of buying a brand new pair of expensive jeans, I always buy them at second-hand stores (like Crossroads Trading Co., etc.) where they cost $35 instead $150 .

I worked at CB2 three years ago for a few months with the intentions of scooping up some furntiture on the cheap (which I did) while breaking the monotony of working from home all day. I worked with Vance quite regularly and I'd have to say that he definitely wasn't showing any animosity toward the other designer. He just knows what works, and when it doesn't, he spots it immediately.

And to mojo, your post I just can't comprehend. If you negate everything you wrote, it makes sense. But I think they made it abundantly clear that it was sponsored. And also, the point that they were working around only 1 vintage piece!
