*shakes head* Who refers to people as "mid-century"? And as far as describing objects as mid-century, it is, technically, correct when describing design that came from the MIDDLE of a CENTURY. The civil war was also mid-century....just a different century. Come on, bokjoy, keep up.

@ Phoebe: The computer will actually stay up if you're using a netbook. That's what I use and the keyboard is so damn small that you can hold the computer up with the heel of your hand at the same time you're typing. Works for people like me with skeleton fingers :(

South Minneapolis here. Within walking distance of two lakes, the Colossal Cafe and A Baker's Wife (best bread EVER!). Plus, there's a group of bagpipers who practice a couple of blocks away so we hear them from our backyard almost every evening in the summer. How perfect is that?!

The boyfriend and I use Mint and it's great! It WAS, anyway, until he was all "Do you realize how much money you spend at Target each month?!" So, great for him, baaaad for me.

He likes it better than Quicken.

I almost bought that same Turman poster (my favorite among the MANY insanely cool posters at Artcrank). But alas, I was on a bike and had no way to get them home. I *swore* I'd go back and get them and, of course, never did.
