I use soy milk for coffee, lasts a long time, no real issues as long as I shake it up first.

I'm Tired of Wasting Milk! What's the Best Way to Have Milk for My Coffee? Good Questions

Yes Yes Yes, Fall is my favorite time of year so I love changing out my clothing, bringing out the blankets-& changing the to the fuzzy fall/winter sheets and comforter. I also do a deep clean since I will be spending more time inside. Also putting out fall decorations and candles since it gets darker sooner I can use them more than in the summer. I think it is important to make the inside cozier in the fall and winter.

I like the idea of seeing the sky at night, but not the idea of seeing my fellow guests or them seeing me in my bed all night. Maybe just the top of the igloos should have been see through.

Why is it if you don't like someone's opinion about learning something about the item you use to decorate your home, they are being childish? However totally adult to say NOOOOO or I threw up in my mouth.

I am Native, I have made several of these and have a colorful collection of many sizes over my bed. I think it is fine for anyone to use them as long as you have a respect for it. People decorate with crosses right?

I agree can be offensive. It is pretty common to act like Native American's are cartoon characters or don't really exist anymore. Anyway the cat would just destroy it in no time.

I agree with using book shelves. I am lucky enough to have a built-in in a hallway near my bedroom. I like treating the shoes like art and I put the nicer ones at eye level.

I have been thinking about going purple & gray in my bedroom with hints of silver for sparkle. I would go farther than these pictures show though. Purple walls to start. I think is great for a bedroom because it will be dark and cozy to sleep in.

I once lived on a bottom floor apartment with big windows. People were constantly walking by and kids would even press their faces to the window to look inside. I did a couple of very cheap (and pretty nice looking things). The first was I got semi-shear white curtains. Light came in during the day and I could see out, but people outside couldn't see in. At night I lowered some additional blinds because otherwise I couldn't see out and others could see in. Another thing I did was to paint the windows with a mix Elmer's glue and water. When it dried it gave a nice frosted look. When I moved out it peeled right off.

yes Vassar is in NY but I would guess she is from NJ and picks up items when she is home on breaks. I think it looks great. I have seen a ton of junky, messy, cookie cutter dorm rooms in my time.

PS. Others are right she shouldn't have things hanging from the pipes. Lets home none of the hall staff looks here and recognizes it.

I am from Alaska originally and I have to say you can see the affect of global warming every day. I think people would be much more open to it if they could see how the change is really affecting the planet right now. I rent but I think there are things we can all do in our environments to change this. seeing these pictures might be one step.
