Thanks Laurel! My mom actually made the bed skirt because at the time we did this room (2.5 years ago) I had never sewed anything in my life! She just kind of figured it out, but this site should help you...it's basically the same thing. Good luck!

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! Pi, I did get the chair at the St. Louis GoodWorks. I agree, their website is not great, but the store itself is fantastic. I could go crazy in there!

Just to put all minds at ease, my husband is standing two millimeters from the edge of the camera edge watching our little man. Ethan just happened to be wearing orange that day and fit in the color scheme so well! We couldn't resist including him. Thanks for the concern though!

Great post! We could all use a little less clutter. My trick is to shop with my two year old. He curbs any ideas I may have about trying on clothes, browsing the home goods section, or inspecting the beauty products. It's toilet paper, cereal, gold fish, and clorox wipes for us!
