I thought it was notable that they did a purge before they started the project. I am moving and have felt guilty about all the stuff I've been throwing out (things that could be donated, dried out pens etc). It's nice to know that they had to start somewhere.

I am not a fan of whoever decided to out white countertops in dorm apartments. Ours are porous and look permanently dirty... especially when only 1/3 people is willing to clean them. White cabinets are fine but white countertops are the worst.

my grandpa's been making these for at least fifteen years-- really stunning when you but twenty of 'em in a tree at Christmas. really fun.

I've been using Mint since July 07 and have found it to be a really great site. I always wonder if their business model actually works-- I've never been tempted to use any of the credit products advertised. I think about that because I would be so sad if mint wasn't there anymore!

this is an interesting idea but it looks like they clutter up the mirror too much-- you lose the expansiveness the mirror should create.

Thank you, kimg924! SLC is lovely and certainly has great public transportation and bike promotion programs, yet one can hardly find a recycle bin at the U of Utah or anywhere about town... but we still have a long way to go.

SLC is definitely not a small town though! I'd be hard pressed to find another "small town" that has a pro-basketball team, large international airport, three college campuses and has played host to the Olympics. Get the net, Sunset.

I had a great time over Thanksgiving playing "Curses" with a big family. Lots of laughs all around.
