I am pretty sure I know how this this "family of 3" can live in a small but beautiful maintained apartment....

They have building amenities, that at least 75% of NYC dwelling families don't have, such as a "common outdoor recreation area" with seating and grilling. I am also going out on a limb here and wondering if there is not some "summer/weekend home", where when things get too crowded, or hairy, the "grownups" can retreat.

No envy or snark here, but I wish that AT would feature some real childproof/pet proof apartments by average NYC dwellers who don't have the luxury of delaying the apartment wear and tear that comes from having children who don't have 24/7 access to a "common grounds areas" or "summer/weekend home" retreat.

Some of the furnishings look so spindly here, such as the chair and pillows under the TV, that I doubt a family without access to multiple maids, "common recreation areas" and a summer/weekend home, could maintain such a place.

AT, please inspire the rest of us.

Wow I am only one of 11 people who thought this place was super cool?? I am disappointed. Who doesn't like the pink graphic outline and the placement of the tree photos? What about the netting over the bed? awwww

The posters, the graphics on the bed frame, and the graphic wallpaper all gave the unfinished loft a great arty kick. I like how your place looks like you LIVE there. Its not my style but I gave you a cool.

Beautiful like a painting or a snowflake: ie something you cannot touch without damaging. I can't imagine someone actually living here, and putting their feet upon the couch, leaving their toothbrush out by accident or draping their overcoat on a chair.

This is perfect!. I hope you win or get at least second place after the Swedish guy's apartment. I love your use baroque aesthetic and I really like how you use it subtly in light colored soft and airy looking accent pieces like the louis XIV chair.

I love how feminine your apartment looks, but its not stuffy or overpowering. You have pretty floral lampshades in your bedroom and a small accent pillow in muted tasteful sophisticated colors. You have that pretty floral hanging decoration in the living room. You use soft but striking colors, like the fuchsia rug and the slate blue kitchen walls.

I WANT YOUR APARTMENT! Its perfect!

Oh my! everything is on the floor. That reminds me of the time when I was in college and we used bean bag chairs and futon mattresses on the floor because we couldnt afford furniture. Ahhh.. I miss my college days, but not the back pain from sleeping on the floor.

I love it! I gave it a super cool, because it looks original and lived in! (nothing you own looks like it came straight from trendy catalog and sat in your home unused.)

I love your use of color and how there was so much contrast and interplay. Each room, bled into the other and there was a cohesion to the entire space, through the use of color and small colorful objects d' art. I hope to see you in the finals!

I loved the details! I gave you a "cool" for the test tube spice rack and the unique chandelier. I want that spice rack! You need more photos, especially of your living room. Great potential, but I'd love to see more.

There is a pic in taken of the living room alcove with the cat sitting on the window sill. In that pic, is that a light fixture on the wall? I was confused by its form.

Not my bag BUT I voted "cool". I like the symmetry, the coordination of objects and furniture, and the color palate. The place looked lived in but beautifully designed. I love it.

Okay. Not my bag. I am not sure about all the "found objects d' art". Is there a reason why the objects are so prominently featured, but the bedroom or bathroom is not?
