I got the smaller version of this oven for Christmas after seeing previous posts about it here, and I love it so far! I've been happy with the size of the small version, since it is just me and my boyfriend, and we tend to cook things like chicken breasts instead of a whole chicken. My 30-day resolution was 30 minutes of dedicated cleaning / decluttering every day. I think I did it for like 7 days, haha. Although, I have been better about it all month, just not timed to 30 minute sessions... probably shorter, but who knows. I used up my 30 minutes of cleaning energy on cooking dinner a lot of nights. Or working out. 30 Day Organizing Challenge: 30 Days Later |

I'm not a good enough cook to clean as I go, haha. It takes all my focus to keep up with a recipe. If I start trying to wash the mixing bowls in the middle of cooking, I forget to stir the pot / check the casserole / flip the chicken / etc. Or I realize that the time spent washing the mixing bowls should have been spent chopping the onions / making the sauce / otherwise prepping for the next step. I'm still feeling pretty overjoyed about our kitchen remodel from 2010, but there are a few things that aren't perfect... one corner without under-cabinet lights, an unorganized baking sheet cabinet, no slide-out cabinet under the kitchen sink. Of course, cleaning out the fridge is always a great idea! Resolution: Make One Improvement in Your Kitchen |

Wow, I had no idea there was so much glass cooktop hate! We have an old coil cooktop and I am so sick of it, was looking forward to a glass top where there are no coils that won't stay flat, no burner pans that rust through, and a single flat surface to clean instead of all those nooks and crannies. I'm sad that it seems it was too good to be true! Is It OK To Use a Cast Iron Skillet on a Glasstop Stove? Good Questions |

These are great tips that I also worked out over the years of intermittently working from home. So much of it for me is psychological - getting dressed (in professional clothes that I would wear to the office) and having a separate office space puts me in "work" mode and also allows me to keep "home work" separate from home life in my mind. I need to work on keeping it tidy though :) My office is kind of a mess but I try to make sure that at least my desk is clear on days I'm working from home. 10 Tips for Successfully Working from Home |

We do a wreath instead of a tree in our small apartment for several of the reasons already listed - they smell just as good, don't take up space, we can put a few ornaments on, and we aren't killing a whole tree. Last weekend my friend gave me about 6 trimmed branches from their tree and it ended up making 4 wreaths!! 5 Reasons a Wreath Can Be Better Than a Tree |
