hey its the other co-captain of this schooner - Thanks to everyone for your compliments. We really worked hard to fully capture the place this time around...it's amazing what the right lens will do for you. The ceiling height in the crows nest is around 4.5 feet...the bathroom floors were definitely a happy accident (in tile painting) and we've even considered adding more colors to really take it to the next level. I completely agree with you; you're more in the majority than you think. While many agree that bought or professionally designed interiors are "inspirational," not many people would say that it's "obtainable." I think AT is based on giving interested readers access to obtainable methods of making their (small) spaces cool. personally, I couldnt stand living in a space where the kitchen and the bathroom were literally seperated by inches... Those two functions of daily living should take place as far apart as possible. Sorry everyone, but I don't really see what's so amazing here. THe light fixtures and ceiling fan look institutional, the curtains surrounding the bed look like a hospital ward, and the plastic chairs look like they were lifted from an elementary school. Yawn.
