I worked cleaning houses last summer and saw a lot of new homes with these, especially large homes. I guess they have the wall space and like the option of closing rooms off without having doors hanging out all over the place. I think it's a really nice, clean look! But in the case of small spaces, I almost like curtains better. Fabric is more airy and doesn't box things up as much, which I think would be awesome for the bedroom one.

That's too bad, but I doubt it will be incredibly detrimental to pinterest, people just love pinterest too much! Hopefully they can find a way to block these things out. The spam that I've encountered was a weird pin that, when clicked, automatically repinned itself on my page! Fortunately there was a way to delete it. Now I don't click on anything that seems strange or inconsistent with the content generally posted by people I follow.

-a crib that turns into a full sized bed! even if you use guards over the wood, babies will get it all scratched up. that thing is going to look like garbage by the time he/she is old enough to sleep in a bed that big

-a diaper pail, what a pain in the butt! just throw diapers out.

-noisy toys. good quality wood toys are so much better than noisy plastic ones with lights and sound. invest in a few good quality toys rather than tons of annoying, tacky plastic ones.

-cloth diapers. if you decide you want to use them, do it once you're slightly adjusted to mom life and can make a better choice based on your experiences as a parent. I was sure I was going to cloth diaper, but once the little guy was around it was way too big of a pain in the butt for me to handle, while I know other moms who just did disposables first and then decided to take up cloth diapering when they were ready.

Hmm, when I was growing up (in Regina, SK, Canada), it was often still fairly cold on Easter. We still had snow many times, and if not it was horrible wet and mucky out. So we always had our egg hunts indoors, around the house. Sometimes we wouldn't find them all and find a funny surprise days, weeks, or months later! Oops. But I have wonderful memories of scouring our home for eggs, I don't see a problem with it. :)

Rihanna's is so simple, I love it. Did Johnny and June live in a yurt?

And Frank Sinatra... my Grandma's kitchen used that exact colour scheme (when I was a child her kitchen hadn't been redecorated for several decades) ... too funny!

And I LOVE Keith Richards' floor, isn't it fantastic?

wow! I can't imagine having to jump through so many hoops just to get a rental place! But I've never gone apartment hunting in a city with more than 300k people...

Wow! I can't believe you could live in that small of a space. I'm so much of a homebody, but I supposed if you weren't home much and wanted to live somewhere very "cool" then it would work out.
