I don't think the author deserves all the "advertisement" hate. The article was a simple description of how the author solves this problem. I'm sure anyone who is interested and doesn't have an iPhone can easily find an alternative. It gave me a good idea, and now I can search out my own alternative apps and storage ideas. So... thanks for the good idea.

Sorry, but that's MINI, not Mini. Those of us lucky enough to be driving the real (original) Mini will appreciate not being confused with the fake-Mini (BMW) lot.

Avoid the DODOcase. After hearing wonderful things about the DODOcase, we got one for my wife's iPad. We were shocked at the shoddy workmanship: the spine was glued incorrectly and was coming apart. The cover was warped and didn't close correctly. Even worse was their abysmal customer "service." After long emails back and forth, they agreed to take it back. After paying the return postage, we're still waiting for a refund after six months.

Really? $69 is expensive? Any time I've talked myself into buying something that's "almost as good as..." I was sorry I did and ended up getting the good stuff eventually anyway. What's that old quote about price/quality? Something like "buy the best, ony cry once."

Please (please) just buy a rake and spare everyone in your neighborhood the noise, not to mention waste of energy.

You forgot one piece of advice: don't ask a woman for her approval of your choices. She won't understand.

If it continues as a trend of clean, simple design, and higher-quality materials as mentioned above, bring it on.

I've had an iPad since the initial release and have never needed a stylus. Is this a solution without a problem?

I think I'm missing something. Why can't I just use my everyday laptop? Why do I need to buy a new computer?
