What is the round thing mounted over the sink?

I agree about watching out for foods that can get into the holes. It's not pleasant when you get something in there and digging it out is a big mistake. I ate a lot of macaroni, soups I could drink, soft breads, etc.

Stay completely away from anything that requires a sucking motion - straws, slurping spaghetti (eat spaghetti without slurping), etc. Dry socket is a *#$(@, but by all means, if you get a nasty case of dry socket, and the pain will most definitely let you know when you have it, do not hesitate to run back to the dentist, begging for mercy. When I got it, the dentist squirted some kind of gel in the socket. The pain was gone almost instantly and did not come back.

I saw a similar organizer at Walmart earlier this week.

One hint - if the dish slides around (like a Pyrex is prone to do), throw a dish towel on the cutting board first.

You could make a homemade paella.

If there are any Asian markets near you, check those. They usually have the stackable containers that either snap together or have a strap that keeps them together.
