I love this long and skinny apartment! It's so unique!

I love this entry, especially because of the shoilet. I think an entry like this, where someone is working with what they've got, is so much more interesting that the (albeit stunning) apartments with an apparently unlimited budget. Way to go Erica!

My uncle is an artist made "name paintings" for my brothers and I when we were born in the 80s. We grew up with these paintings in our rooms, so I don't think it is narcissistic. It is a sweet keepsake that we each still have today.

@melly2508 I have a clawfoot bathtub, and the litterbox happens to fit neatly between the wall and the bathtub. Because the bathtub curves out over the box, you can't really see it, but my kitty still has enough room to stand in there, and a bit of privacy. I just slide it out to clean it.

This is the first cat I have ever had, or even been around-- but I have never had a problem with odors. I just scoop every day or every other day, and sweep up if she has kicked any litter out. My boyfriend didn't even know where her box was before I pointed it out. Maybe she is just very clean and tidy?

I love the wood floors! And the rug in the kitchen!

I've always thought that if I struck it rich, the first thing I would get would be laundry service (but that's not a part of the home) and the second would be a wall mounted hairdryer.

A secret room or a secret passageway (or both) that leads to the indoor pool. A home gym with floor to ceiling windows and proper ventilation so it doesn't seem stuffy, with all the ellipticals and bikes my heart desires; one of those awesome outdoor pools with waterfalls and caves and a lazy river. LOVE the idea of a bank tube to send cold beers anywhere in the house.

Oh that trim! Ouch! But I am dealing with something similar in my own apartment.

I love this house, too fun! But I am confused by some of the staging-- ie. that cute little kids kitchen is shown next to the (very beautiful) butler's pantry and upstairs in the studio. Also, the it appears that there are two very different pieces of art above the queen bed. Am I missing something here, or is this just for sartorial reasons?

But most importantly, I have lived in a row house like this, and I love it and miss it. Those beautiful old creaky stairs and antique wood floors. What a great place for those little kids to grow up!

I'd float the couch in front of the bay window, if it fits, then maybe put a sideboard table or chairs or something back there.

But more importantly, this home is BEAUTIFUL!

I lived in a side-by-side townhome duplex in college, with three of my girlfriends. We had never met the older boys next door, but they quickly became some of our closest friends. We did everything together-- cooked big family meals with them, hung out on the porch, watched movies etc. They always protected us like older brothers, and would often end up skipping parties or bar nights to stay home and hang out with us. I studied abroad with one of them and he was my saving grace/comfort when I was mugged. It was only one year of being neighbors, but almost seven years later, I'm headed to one of their weddings in a few weeks. I am so grateful for those friends, and for Craigslist for helping us all find our duplex.
