The figures on the mantle are wooden and they are from India. I've had them for several years. Thanks! Design Vidal's Renovated Farmhouse House Tour |

Hi Jenny--I grew up in Massachusetts (Western Mass!). We had the kitchen cabinets made by a cabinetmaker we work with. They are simple Shaker style, with exposed hinges which gives them a more vinatge look. Good luck with your project! Design Vidal's Renovated Farmhouse House Tour |

S.R.K.: I can't remember where we got that chair! Our friend Lianne hooked us up with her friend who was selling them. Room Service has one that looks the same: http://www.roomservicestore.com/product/MCMC012/Hanging-Bubble-Chair/ Guy & Karen's Modern Family HomeHouse Tour |

Thanks to everyone who posted such nice comments about our kids! And a special thanks to Marcia for capturing our life (and Levi's expressions!) so vividly. To answer some questions: Nomadchicky; We got the fringes ages ago at Sweet Smiling Home. Maybe they no longer have them. And our grass is indeed fake. B21: You can email us and we can fill you in about our pool experience (karen@designvidal.com, guy@designvidal.com). Designer.steff: the candelabra was a yard sale score!
