Is your bed a Full or Queen size? If it's only a Full, Ikea has a loft bed that you could use to reclaim the space below. You could look at that. How To Lay Out Space in a Teeny Tiny Studio? Good Questions |

I'm very sad because you don't seem to be able to purchase the Biome. I can't find it for sale. A Self-Making Bed (!?) and More Smart Bedroom Tech |

My favorite neighbors ever was a LARGE family next door. I expect that there were actually way more people living in the apartment than were on the lease. As a result, they were the quietist neighbors I ever had. Never heard a peep out of them at any time of day. They did occasionally cook things that were pungent, but it was rare, and I worked second shift at the time, so I didn't have to deal with it. 7 Tips for Keeping the Peace (and Quiet) With Noisy Neighbors |

@lillik. It is illegal to rip then sell. Ripping is only supposed to be a backup for media that you personally own. So if you own the DVD, you can rip a copy as a backup. But if you sell the original, then your ripped copy is no longer a backup, it is a unique copy. The reality is that as long as you aren't distributing your copies to people online by selling or for free, probably no one is going to find out about it. But it is technically not legal. My last apartment had an old mercury bulb thermostat that was not installed on the level (extremely important in the old mercury bulb thermostats). I also didn't have a heat pump and couldn't remember to turn down the heat when I was going to be out for a significant amount of time. I went out and bought a programmable thermostat and installed it. It was fairly simple to do, and I made sure to get a really good one, where each individual day could be set by itself (in case I have a work schedule that is odd) and that could work with almost any system. When I left, I put the old thermostat back in, and mine is with me, so when I get a new apartment, I can put my thermostat in again, since programmable thermostats don't seem to be a priority in most apartments. Do you need two couches? For an oddly shaped space like that you might do better with more modular furniture that could be rearranged as needed to provide you with multiple seating options. And I agree with xarcady above. You might consider mounting the TV over the fireplace if that's a possibility. How To Arrange Awkward Living Room? Good Questions |
