Per the bedbugs, fingers-crossed I've not heard of anyone having them and my friends are all about CL finds.

This entry is my first to favorite. For me, it's a perfect balance of eclectic
color and warmth.

I really like the lighting and the space. Kudos to you guys. I do not, though, understand how you can do it without rugs. I just crave them on my feet in the winters!

Thank you for sharing something worn and lived-in with some whimsy. I get tiresome of some of these huge and sterile posts where everything is just so, feels brand new. and matchy matchy.

This project is strange.

This is a lovely redesign, but I think my favorite part are the red chairs in the first before photo. They are stunning.

@Patmac, I'm with you. We used old towels, rags and linen napkins in place of paper towels. It seems to work well for us. I live in Portland and we have a place called the "Bins". It is where Goodwill takes it's leftovers and sells by the pound. So cheap and I love the thrill of the hunt. Our new home as so many found vintage items we have upcycled or given a little love!

This year as Portland has instituted curb-side composting, we are focusing on reducing our trash to less than a small bag a month to hopefully none. Far West Fibers has been a big help, we can recycle almost everything there that curbside won't take. It's taken a little time separating out our bins to look nicely in the kitchen and then having larger bins in the basement, but it's slowly working. And I feel so much better about having less trash.

I've been napping in my car at lunch, from time to tima, as needed, for YEARS. Set my cellphone alarm, put the seat back and cover my eyes with a scarf (I keep for this reason) and after I am so much more refreshed for work. I'm in the design industry and I can testify to a casual car nap boosting my creativity.
