@Adaora1

Very few are upset about the subject matter itself (myself included, in fact I say above that it's a great issue to tackle), just within the context of this site. Someone above mentioned enjoying a post of making the bedroom sexier, and it happened to be one I liked very much as well. The difference between that post and this one is that the former stayed true to AT form--design and space. This one does not.

Oh, and not only do I browse while at work, I often waive my boss over during down time if I find something eye-catching. :)

Anyway, I came back to see if this was taken down...obviously not! :-/ lol.

@CanadianMango

This post doesn't bother me per se, just the context and where I normally access it. In fact I think the topic is a very good one, just not here.

AT has always been my guilty pleasure during down time at work, and I've also no qualms whatsoever with letting kids peruse posts about kid-related stuff. I still plan on visiting every so often, but as far as logging on at work or letting kids use it unsupervised--those days are over.

I don't normally beat a dead horse with a comment in agreement like this, but I'm disappointed with this post as well.

I regularly refer friends and such to this site for ideas or something I've seen, and nothing I've ever described about it would make it seem as though their children couldn't visit the site unmonitored as well.

Please do better AT. Quite honestly this makes me want to visit a whole lot less than I normally do (daily). Pretty sure accessing it at work is a definite no-go at this point.

Cool, and not costly at all! There's packs of 100 at the dollar store.

I'm sure it's possible to lighten it, but I would ask professionals what they think first to be sure it's safe for your curtains.

Thank you! As a vegetarian I've been a bit afraid of buying store bought dips after reading articles like these:

Not sure how I feel about the open-air bathroom.

Okay, I do. Don't like it.

I could see how this would work for someone who lived alone. Personally, I closed my door way more often than not even when living by myself, haha.

Lovely space Jeremy, from the artwork above the credenza, sofa and bed to your awesome dining table. Proof that furnishing a home doesn't need to place gaping holes in your budget! As a fine of optimum lighting I love your window as well.

Overall great place. Another entry in which would be great to see in person as well.

My senior year of college my room was about 200 or so square feet. Loved it. I prefer smaller spaces, so I could see how it would annoy some folks.

Great space, I especially love your bathroom. The decision to have clear shower curtains so the attention remains on the wall details was an excellent one.

Now AT I'd like to ask about the photo situation. It appears the last photo is two photoshopped together. I believe I noticed the same in another entry. I have no problem with this and enjoy seeing more of great spaces like these, but aren't the rules you're only allowed to have five individual photos? Please do correct me if I'm wrong.

@Taurean OMG that's so cute! When my sister warned me first (read my above comment, haha), she's come and sleep in my bunk too.

Hey, your magnets have a fridge on them. :)

Great space, it has a very cozy feel. Very jealous of the size of your eat-in kitchen despite the space.

I don't have kids that use bunk beds, but shared one with my sister growing up.

As for the fighting, designate a bunk to someone. I was always on top being the oldest and it very quickly became "my" bunk and became *very* annoyed if she got on it without warning me first, lol. I did trip on the ladder on occasion, but it was nothing major. At most maybe a bruise or something.

Whut?! Fireplaces galore!

Okay, this is the first entry where I feel as though I need to see it in person, lol! Wow. Intrigue is the right word @Maiatweets.

Great space.

Wow, love it! My father (parents are artists as am I and 3 sibs) has had a liking for ripped paper for as long as I can remember. He tears each piece slowly into a random shape, then paints the result.

I love that the AT logo is orange. Very warm and free. The first home with the heart is lovely as well.

I want your shelves! Beautiful! What kind of sofas do you have? They look super comfy, like their special magical is putting everyone who sits on them to sleep, haha. Love them.

No. At most I'll bring them their cell if they stepped out or something and mentioned waiting on a call. I also answer my mom's phone her when she's driving and asks me to, but that's about it.
