Plant standard bay trees and under plant with buxus sempervirens or lavandula munstead. Have up-lighters behind stems of bay trees to give silhouette and hints of the blue lavandula at night (please remember to use low lighting! its meant to be subtle) . It looks very Moroccan, that said why not paint inner area cobalt blue and door white, paint the narrow wall on inside of arch deep purple. I would also change the glass in the door for opaque glass and have some metal work in each frame. How To Improve Front Door of Rental? Good Questions |

Must have been one messed up architect who dreamed that room up. On the plus side you have the oval office in your house, I would paint the walls snow white, have rich wine carpet on the floor and a decent light. The angular wall I would paint in royal navy. Oh and for all the "PC" people get a life, let your hair down and stop being so uptight all the time. Life is short, enjoy it and stop worrying so much. Ok. You have to think Japanese. That is use bed rooms as just that "somewhere to sleep". Bed rooms don't have to be filled with stuff just a bed. this would enable you to make the bedrooms smaller thus freeing up space for living space. As your children get older they could move into bunk beds. If you actually look at all your belonging you will realise that most of its necessary.
