I definitely agree that we should be conscious about what we wear, how much we cycle through and where it goes when we’re done. I’ve lived overseas and seen an entire industry emerge around discarded American clothing. There are both positives and negatives to the practice, but it is a reality and it was a source of income for a lot of people. I will continue to donate (and shop at) the Salvation Army and Goodwill because they use the money on job training and creating jobs. I really like the other options for donating that people brought up too, thanks.

I love the warm colors! I used to live in Central America, and I miss all of the lovely colors people used. Your garden is delightful, thanks for sharing.

I love these ideas! I lived in a house that was once a church in Nicaragua and loved it. There's a lovely church for sale I've been eyeing here on the west side of Cleveland...

I just bought a home with a huge gravel driveway of medium sized river rocks and pea gravel next to the garage. It took up half of the garden space, so I've been digging it up. It was extremely messy, weeds came through it, and the basement started to leak where the gravel touched because there were no plants to suck up extra rainwater. I wish I could go outside barefoot. I don't recommend gravel here in Ohio.
