The gray with hints of green is wonderful and fresh! A combo I wouldn't have thought of! I like the bed in the window. Nothing beats a wonderful breeze in the morning, or waking up to natural light. I love it.

MCross, thanks for the link! I was looking for contact paper months ago and never found this on amazon! On the subject of contact paper, I wanted to advise people not to order Tempaper products. They are exactly equivalent to contact paper.

Love the chunky bedding. I HAVE to get that this winter. I hate how small scale my design items are, good inspiration!

The rug in pic 4 is so incredible. I admire how artfully people hang art. I am a graphic designer, but when it comes to hanging art, I suck. Most of these are great examples for me to study!

once again A.T. posts something that isn't this magical creative transformation. It's just a trip away, a drive to the furniture store. I am still longing to see a before and after where people got super creative to solve problems like an extremely small space, an awkward space, a next to nothing budget, or it's a rental with constraints on what you can do to transform it. This is another catalog pic. Don't get me wrong, it's lovely. Just not the kind of inspired thing I would hope to see on A.T.

I LOVE it, and would love to live there. One thing about apartment therapy that's been bugging me lately: obviously all of these tours of these houses are owned by people with money. and they are houses, not crappy little apartments transformed into a chic wonderland on a budget. It's easy when you have money. Show me some inspiration from savvy dwellers.

I used to skip over the linens section at thrift shops, but now I cruise them for fun funky fabrics and extremely well crafted crocheted peices. All they need is a wash! Most smells and funk will come out, if not, you're out 2 bucks.

And when i go to someplace like Target, I shop the end caps. You can score ridiculously low prices randomly. I recently bought 2 comforters, king size with shams, originally 129 for 24.99. cute lamps for 9 bucks or less. And lowes has great finds in clearance, you just have to look hard.

I absolutely love the clear (lucite?) fan. I feel like small things like that make all the difference. And that sofa bed and rug combo is wonderful. I want to be a house guest!
